Agreement

By creating an account, accepting these terms in the app, or using Tailstory, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Tailstory.

If you downloaded Tailstory from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app license unless Tailstory later provides a custom EULA in App Store Connect. These Terms govern the Tailstory service, content, accounts, and features.

Accounts And Responsibilities

You may need an account to use Tailstory features. You are responsible for keeping your sign in methods, device, and account access secure. You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.

Tailstory may support email OTP, phone OTP, Google Sign-In, and other authentication methods. You may not use another person's account without permission, attempt to bypass security, or interfere with authentication or subscription systems.

Pet Care And Veterinary Disclaimer

Tailstory is a pet care organization tool. It can help you record pet events, documents, feeding, walks, body observations, reminders, courses, and family responsibilities. Tailstory is not a veterinary clinic, emergency service, pharmacy, medical device, or diagnostic tool.

Tailstory does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Content in the app is for general informational and organizational purposes only. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication, dosage, urgent symptoms, or emergencies.

Your Content

You keep ownership of pet profiles, photos, documents, notes, walk data, diary entries, and other content you add to Tailstory. You grant Tailstory a limited right to host, process, display, sync, back up, and share that content as needed to provide the service and features you choose.

You are responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, invasive of another person's privacy, infringing, misleading, or unrelated to legitimate pet care use. Do not upload documents or photos unless you have the right to store and share them through Tailstory.

Family Sharing

Family access lets you invite other people to view or help manage selected pet information. You are responsible for choosing who receives access and for removing access when it is no longer appropriate. Invited members should use shared information only for the pet care purpose for which access was granted.

Premium, Subscriptions, Billing, And Refunds

Tailstory may offer free and paid features. Premium may include expanded pets, family access, document storage, body atlas, advanced walk tools, support, or other features shown in the app at the time of purchase.

Mobile subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through the App Store, Google Play, or approved billing flows. The purchase screen and app store checkout describe price, billing period, renewal, trial, cancellation, and tax details. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through the relevant store before renewal.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple or Google subscription settings, or through any in-app subscription center Tailstory provides. Refunds are handled according to applicable law and the rules of the store or billing provider used for the purchase.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use Tailstory for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity;
• upload objectionable, harassing, violent, explicit, infringing, or deceptive content;
• misrepresent medical, veterinary, subscription, or identity information;
• attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or bypass Tailstory systems;
• use Tailstory to send spam or unwanted messages to family members or third parties;
• sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Tailstory without written permission.

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion inside the app profile screen or outside the app at tailstory.app/delete-account. Account deletion is intended to delete the account record and associated personal data, subject to retention needed for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, legal compliance, backups, and other legitimate reasons.

Deleting your Tailstory account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. You should cancel subscriptions through the store where you purchased them.

Service Availability And Changes

We work to keep Tailstory useful and reliable, but the service may change, pause, or become unavailable because of maintenance, network issues, store requirements, third-party services, legal requirements, or product updates. Some features may vary by device, country, language, account state, subscription state, or app version.

We may add, modify, limit, or discontinue features. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for Tailstory or other users, or if required by law or store policy.

Legal Terms, Liability, And Consumer Rights

Tailstory is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every pet care situation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailstory is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or substitute services. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection laws.

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. We may update these Terms as Tailstory changes. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and may provide notice in the app or on the website.
